SUBMIT YOUR COMIC

WhAT is this thing?

We created Ghost City Comics Competition after working so hard on our own comics and not being satisfied with the outlets available to us. You either blindly submit to a publisher or slowly build your own fan base one reader at a time.

Coming from a film background, we wondered why there was nothing like a film festival for comics. In fact, most arts; screenwriting, poetry, music, graphic design, they all have competitions as an outlet for aspiring creators. And since nobody had really nailed the idea in our heads, we decided to make it ourselves.

With GCCC we hope to give indie comic creators a new way to get their work out there. A chance to have their comics read by industry professionals, win some cool prizes, and get reviewed and promoted across the internet.

This is our first year, but our dream is that GCCC will grow to become a staple of the comics community. We've got so many ideas for future competitions, prizes we'd love to give out, sponsors we'd love to work with, and hopefully some day an in-person event.

Making comics has made us so many friends and creative partners around the world. We hope we can contribute back to the comic creators community that we have fallen in love with.

Let's keep #makingcomics.
